v1.0.2 HUDTraining historyRecovery

Your training month became an instrument

The new Calendar gauge makes training, recovery, and the shape of a month readable from the HUD — with every total following the period actually on screen.

Ascend Log · Field evidence · v1.0.2

The most useful training history is not a report you remember to open. It is part of the instrument you already look at every day.

The Calendar is now a featured HUD gauge beside Training and Readiness. Each month becomes a field of training days, recovery days, and open space. The pattern reads in a glance; a tap turns any tile into its day story.

A month you can interrogate

Training days open the session that created them. Recovery days preserve the decision to rest. Open days stay actionable, so logging recovery is attached to the day it describes rather than buried in a separate calendar flow.

Moving into a previous month changes more than the squares. Session count, recovery, records, volume, sets, time, and the volume comparison all follow the exact period on screen. July is compared with June; February is allowed to be February. The interface no longer asks a calendar to pretend it is a rolling 30-day chart.

Built to reveal, then get out of the way

The calendar remains compact until a day is selected. Its story and full statistic cluster then scroll into view above the floating navigation, whether that cluster contains one row or two. Tap away and the HUD returns to its quieter shape.

This is the direction of Ascend’s history system: less hunting for reports, more meaning available at the point where you are already deciding what to do next.
