Friends found their place in the League
Friends, invitations, activity, and standings now read as one social system — with a calmer connection flow and tabs built to stay clear over every Ascend finish.
Training partners were previously hidden behind a small HUD icon, while the activity that made those relationships meaningful lived somewhere else. Ascend now treats both as one system.
Friends is a first-class destination inside the League, beside Activity and Standings. The move removes a redundant friends-only workout feed and gives every social action a clear home: see the work, understand the standings, manage the people.
One path to connect
The new Connect flow layers several ways of finding a training partner without presenting them all at once. Enter a six-character code, scan a QR, search by handle, or share your own invite. The keyboard can open without covering the action that completes the task, and every path previews who you are connecting with before anything changes.
Navigation that survives the finish
Ascend can be matte, frosted, paper-like, or camouflaged in several color modes. The old tab treatment was too dependent on the background beneath it. The new selector carries its own quiet surface, while the active destination receives the stronger outline. A short weighted slide connects one selection to the next.
That control now serves the League, Academy, Connect, and other segmented screens. The refinement is small in isolation and systemic in effect: changing the finish no longer asks navigation to become harder to read.
Live joined workouts are not part of this release. That multiplayer system will return when its two-device experience has the same level of finish as the social foundation around it.
