Ascend Log 1.0.2 entered external testing
Version 1.0.2 carries the current Ascend instrument to iOS TestFlight and Google Play closed testing, with the same product system prepared for the web.
Ascend Log 1.0.2 is the first build that carries the current product system into both external test channels. Google Play closed testing is live on Android. The iOS build is attached to the public TestFlight group and moving through Apple’s external beta review.
This is not a finish-line release. It is the point where the real instrument — not a prototype of it — can be exercised across the platforms it is meant to serve.
What is in the build
The floor-level loop is complete: templates and mesocycle blocks become workouts; sets land in the local ledger immediately; rest timing continues between them; completed sessions flow into history, records, bodyweight trends, the HUD, and the League.
The surrounding systems are present too:
- Training instruments — waveform, Calendar, volume, bodyweight, consistency, and records
- Academy — evidence-led lessons and practical training insights designed to be read between sets
- League — friend activity, volume standings, and connection by invite, QR, code, or handle
- Personal finish — skins, color modes, digital camo, surface effects, density, borders, and motion
- Native behavior — recorded rest cues, lock-screen reach, iOS live timing, and adaptive haptics
The web build comes from the same Expo codebase rather than a second interpretation of the product. Its production target remains part of the beta rollout.
Deliberately not exposed
Joined multiplayer sessions have a substantial technical foundation, but their entry points are removed from this test release. Shared live workouts will return as a clearly labeled coming-soon feature after the peer experience is proven and refined on two physical devices.
External testing begins the part of development that only real training can reveal. The public changelog will record the product arcs that emerge from that work.
